The cooperative

Storängen's Montessori School is run as a parent cooperative of an economic association founded in 1973. The preschool is one of the first Montessori schools in Sweden. The association is ideally run with the aim of providing a safe and development environment for our children. The educational activities are carried out without the parents involvement. In case of illness or other occasions when extra staff is needed, professional available staffs are temporarily brought in. Tasks performed by members of the cooperative are primarily but not limited to : Buying snacks and laundry of textiles, performing simpler repairs, actively participating in the board for some time, and being available in case of emergencies.
